Summary

Their vision is to provide practical support with compassion, efficiency, and respect.
The Role
As a Property Maintenance Officer, you will report to the Property Preparation Officer and work as part of a dedicated team delivering essential housing preparation tasks. This is a hands-on role, primarily based out and about across West Sussex, with a vehicle provided. You will be working alongside another team member, five days per week, ensuring properties are ready for resettled families.
Key Responsibilities
Building and transporting furniture to properties.
Painting, decorating, and preparing interiors.
Maintaining exterior gardens and outdoor spaces.
Carrying out minor household repairs.
Supporting the Property Preparation Officer in delivering housing readiness.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, meeting the needs of resettled families.
Candidate Requirements
Practical facilities and building knowledge.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work physically and manage environmental demands.
Enhanced DBS clearance (required).
Flexibility to travel across West Sussex (vehicle provided).
Regular and intrinsic ability to communicate in English with members of the public.
