What You’ll Bring
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (with a commitment to achieving Level 3)
• Proven leadership experience in a care setting, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A commitment to person-centred care and promoting dignity, independence, and choice
• Empathy and patience in supporting residents and working with families
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and CQC standards
About the Role
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated care team to provide safe, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities. You’ll coach and mentor your team, helping them grow and succeed, while managing day-to-day staffing and maintaining compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards. You’ll build positive relationships with residents and their families and provide guidance during on-call incidents, ensuring the team feels supported and residents can live confidently and independently.
