Our client is seeking an HR Change Manager to support their existing team. The successful candidate will have strong Leadership, knowledge of change and employment law and ability to multi skill against tight timescales experience.
Responsibilities:
Support senior leaders in finalising the design, structure and implementation plan for a major organisational restructure.
Coordinate and oversee the change team to ensure the programme is delivered effectively.
Lead role design activities, creating detailed plans for new and updated roles aligned to new systems and processes.
Manage the full restructure process—consultation, redeployment and recruitment—ensuring legal compliance and minimising risk.
Lead the design and improvement of business processes within the new operating model, working closely with stakeholders.
Develop strong transition plans to protect business continuity during change.
Work with operational teams to assess readiness for change and support the embedding of new working practices.
Use strong employee relations expertise, including working with trade unions or staff representatives and leading collective consultation.
Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
MCIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
3–5 years’ people management experience, ideally in HR.
At least 5 years’ experience in organisational change management.
Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale change programmes.
Ability to set, monitor and deliver against HR KPIs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of employment law relating to organisational change.
Good knowledge of job design, job evaluation and organisational frameworks.
Ability to interpret workforce data to support planning.
Experience managing budgets and forecasting.
