Summary

Lead the planning and delivery of key programme activities, including design development, procurement stages, stakeholder engagement, and implementation phases.Ensure all planning processescomply withTrust policies, statutory requirements, and bestpractice project and programme managementmethodologies practiceproject and programme managementmethodologies The postholder will develop and manageanagreed programmeandensure delivery within defined time, cost, and quality constraints.Plan, coordinate, andmonitormultiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment with programmeobjectivesand organisational priorities. Produce andmaintaindetailed programme plans, schedules, and milestones, proactively adjusting to emerging risks, issues, and changes in scope.Ensure effective resource planning byidentifyingcapacity requirements and coordinating contributions from internal teams, external contractors, and specialist advisors Make informed judgements on complex project matters, balancing competing priorities, operational constraints, financial considerations, and organisational risk. Evaluate and interprethighly complexinformation to appraise a range of options, including where data is incomplete or conflicting, ensuring full consideration of legislation, Health & Safety requirements, statutory compliance, and expert technical advice. Develop and present robust business cases with clear financial appraisal, risk assessment, and alignment to project priorities, providing evidence-basedrecommendations to support informeddecision-making Use analytical skills to interpret technical reports, design proposals, contractual documentation, and financial models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Trust standards and statutory requirements. Establish andmaintainrobust governance arrangements, ensuringtimelyreporting, escalation, and decisionmaking through programme boards and senior leadershipforums.making through programme boards and senior leadership forums. Lead the development of policies and procedures that support and govern the programme of work, ensuring they are robust, evidencebased, and aligned with organisational priorities. Provide effective line management to the project team, offering clear leadership, direction, and support to ensure high performance, professional development, and delivery of programmeobjectives. Manage all aspects of people leadership for the project team, workload planning and allocation, and proactive performance management, ensuring all actions are undertaken promptly, constructively, and in full accordance with organisational HR policies and procedures Provide clear, visible leadership to the project teamincluding regular supervision, performance reviews, and ongoing support to ensurehigh standardsof delivery, creating a positive, highperforming culture that supports the successful delivery of the estates programme.Foster a collaborative, solutionfocused environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement Ensure the Trust fulfil their client responsibilities under construction design and management regulationsandthat the projects are designedin accordance withHealth Technical Memoranda (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs) and all other relevant statutory requirements Commission and undertake survey workrequiredto support the estates programme, ensuring surveys are appropriately scoped, delivered to the required technical standards, and used to inform planning, design, compliance, and decisionmaking across the programme The Trustis required towork in line with the Governments UK Visa and Immigration Rules and Regulations.
