Summary
Reclamet Ltd, one of the South East’s leading vehicle recycling companies, is expanding its export operations and looking for a skilled Vehicle Dismantler (Export) to join our global parts team.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone with strong mechanical ability and a passion for precision work. You’ll be responsible for removing high-value components — mainly engines and gearboxes — for international export. If you take pride in safe, efficient, and accurate dismantling, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Removing engines, gearboxes, and export-grade parts from end-of-life vehicles
Ensuring all removed components meet Reclamet’s export quality standards
Using lifting equipment, hoists, and power tools safely and efficiently
Labelling, tagging, and recording all dismantled parts for full traceability
Coordinating with warehouse and export packaging teams
Maintaining a clean, organised dismantling area and following site safety rules
Recording work via tablets/scanners linked to our CRM system
Supporting occasional vehicle movements and export load planning
What You’ll Need
Proven mechanical or dismantling experience (essential)
Strong understanding of engines, gearboxes, and major components
Own basic toolkit (required)
Forklift licence (preferred, training available)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Physically fit, punctual, and safety-minded
