About the Role
Long Term Futures are supporting a newly developed special needs school in the Spalding (PE11) area, working with children and young people aged 2-19 with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities and SEMH needs.
Pupils learn in small, highly supported groups, helping them build trust, regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting their development, confidence and independence across a varied curriculum, with a strong focus on practical life skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- 1:1 and small-group SEN/SEMH support
- Helping deliver engaging, practical lessons
- Encouraging emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Supporting life skills, independence and social development
- Working with teachers, therapists and support staff
