Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Jersey Ward as a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker. We provide care for urology, general surgery, colorectal surgery, both elective and non-elective, gynaecology and orthopaedic

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and experienced individuals who would enjoy the challenge of working as a Health Care Support Worker. The post holder will provide patient-centred and compassionate care and will work as a member of a team that delivers clinical care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that patients are cared for in a safe environment and that their privacy and dignity is maintained at all times. You will be required to provide direct care and provide verbal and written reports, as well as to actively develop a relationship with patients and carers to ensure a positive experience for all.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
