The Role – Behaviour Support Assistant
As a Graduate Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Use behaviour intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies
• Support students with emotional regulation, coping strategies, and managing triggers
• Create a calm, structured, and safe learning environment
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and structured activities
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to track progress

Person Specification
To apply, you MUST:
• Hold a degree in Psychology, Mental Health, Neuroscience, Education, or a related field
• Have graduated within the last two years
You should also:
• Be empathetic, patient, and confident in supporting challenging behaviour
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ideally have experience in behaviour support, SEN settings, mentoring, or youth work (desirable but not essential)
• Have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
