Summary
Level 3 Teaching Assistant
36 hours per week, 38.8 weeks per annum
Grade E SCP 11 16, £28,142 - £30,518 (pro rata to the hours and weeks worked)

Development Opportunity
The Board of Trustees wishto provideopportunity foranenthusiasticLevel 3 Teaching Assistant.We are looking for a highly motivated candidateto become part of our school team. The post holderwill be initially based at Greenfield Academy.
The successful candidate will have:
A passion and commitment to working with children with Special Educational Needs
Understanding of the barriers to learning that children with special educational needs may face and be able to use effective strategies to support them, including experience of delivering SEND interventions
NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experienceor willingness to work towards
Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
Completion of Department for Education Teacher Assistant Induction Programme (orto complete within first term)
Experience of working with learning resources and helping with their preparation to support learning programmes
Experience ofworking with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school
Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
Basic understanding of a child’s development and learning.
