Responsibilities
Conduct detailed land and site surveys using various surveying equipment and techniques.
Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, reports, and documentation.
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.
Analyze survey data and provide recommendations based on findings.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed survey layouts and site plans.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying and land use.
Participate in project planning meetings to discuss survey-related aspects and timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a surveyor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with advanced surveying instruments, including total stations and GPS equipment.
Proficient in using surveying software and CAD programs.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills to interpret complex data and solve problems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team on various projects.
