Summary

Role: Business Administrator Support
Location: Atherton, Greater Manchester M46 (occasional travel to Burnley may be required)

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week working Monday to Friday 09.00am until 17.00pm.

JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Business Administration Support is to provide administration support on various aspects of the business, including and not limited to commercial and pre -employment. Contribute to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the company by putting forward new ideas and implementing change when requested to do so.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administration support for the funded provision of the business and support the Contract Team ensuring that the courses are full in line with the contract profiles.
  • Contact and liaise with learners to ensure that they are eligible and complete all the supporting paperwork associated.
  • Scanning portfolios and learners work into the Learner files on the Z Drive.
  • Complete feedback and learner tracking.
  • Upkeep of in centre jobs board.
  • Work closely with the Employer Engagement Officer to match vacancy opportunities.
  • Upkeep of referral spreadsheet.
  • Assist with filing and archiving.
  • Assist with contacting clients via telephone, letter, text and email as required.
  • Assist with the auditing and checking of administration systems to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Assist with the processing of customer details and information.
  • Assist with the maintenance records and information as required by the contract.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out within required timescales.
  • Produce and assist with the development of training materials.
  • Assist with the production of customers training certificates and updating learner's CVs.
  • Provide basic information and support to customers as appropriate and within the parameters of the position.
  • Develop social media content in line with the business activities.
  • Increase the digital marketing activity through posting on the various social media channels.
  • Contribute to the sharing of good practice and support continuous improvement throughout the Company.
  • Actively contribute to maintenance of a professional and welcoming environment within the Academy.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive image of the Company and all of the services it delivers.
  • Willing to attend and undertake any relevant training courses identified in order to enhance both personnel development and skills.
  • Any other duties within the nature and scope of the role.


PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Qualifications

  • To be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • IT literate ECDL qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the range of social media channels.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience of diary management (MS Outlook).
  • Good communication skills, oral and written.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
