Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.The Funding and Exams team has responsibility for the College’s Management Information System (MIS) Data Quality and Integrity, Examinations, Funding Returns and Audit, Timetabling and the provision of Funding Guidance across the College. The team ensures the highest levels of compliance in Examinations, Funding and Data Returns and associated Audits.The Examinations Team is a well-established, and highly effective part of the function providing an essential service across all areas of the College to both learners and staff; supporting the achievement of outstanding outcomes for all learners across all programmes. This role is to support the department to provide increased capacity across a wide range and types of assessments. You will be responsible for certain areas of College in terms of exam administration, set-up and co-ordination. This makes the role varied and interesting on any given day and provides a crucial service to learners across the College. The role will include appropriate training and support to ensure you can learn all awarding body processes and assist the College in adhering to JCQ and awarding body regulations whilst providing the best service to its learners. If you have excellent organisation skills, are a skilled communicator, work well both on your own initiative and as part of a team, have highly developed attention to detail and share our determination to provide an outstanding service, we would like to hear from you.
