Summary
Revenue Manager – West Northamptonshire Council
We are seeking a Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization and financial planning. You will develop strategies, analyze financial data, prepare reports, ensure compliance, manage budgets, and support team development. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the council’s financial performance while fostering continuous improvement.
Contract & Hours:
Temporary full-time role, 37 hours/week (09:00–17:30)
Contract: 02/12/2025 – 24/02/2026
Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor revenue management strategies to optimize income
Analyze market trends, customer data, and historical financials
Prepare accurate financial reports and conduct account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory standards
Manage budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and audit preparations
Mentor and guide team members in accounting practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting
Proficiency with accounting software (PeopleSoft, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Knowledge of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
Strong analytical, organizational, and team management skills
