We are seeking a highly capable Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and act as a trusted advisor across a portfolio of key ISS UK accounts.​

In this pivotal role, you will develop strong and proactive relationships with client representatives and internal stakeholders, promoting ISS’s services while remaining responsive to evolving client needs.

Job Description

The Finance Business Partner will support end-to-end financial management of client contracts, ensuring compliance with governance requirements, accurate reporting, proactive risk management, and clear financial analysis.​

You will work closely with Procurement, Account Teams, and Senior Finance Leaders to align supplier agreements with business objectives, drive efficiency, and contribute high-quality narrative during period-end and year-end cycles.​

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires analytical strength, commercial awareness, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, promoting ISS services and understanding evolving client needs.

Provide insightful financial analysis and challenge to support commercial decisions, pricing, cost optimisation, and process improvements.

Ensure full contract governance, including accurate client reporting, reconciliations, and change control.

Identify financial and commercial risks and support gap-closure planning to protect contract and financial performance.

Deliver timely, accurate reporting and forecasting, including month-end and year-end outputs with clear narrative.

Partner with Procurement and Account Teams to align supplier agreements with business objectives and drive efficiency, including support for supplier negotiations.

Advise operational and senior leaders on key commercial changes and performance trends.

Support production of management accounts and ensure audit requirements are met.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA).

Experience in commercial finance within a service-contract or outsourced services environment.

Confident in client-facing roles with strong relationship-building skills.

Professional, proactive, innovative, and committed to delivering high standards.

Strong communicator with the ability to engage confidently with clients, operations, suppliers, and internal teams.

Highly numerate, analytical, accurate, and comfortable working independently.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

High level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial systems.

Results-driven with a strong awareness of the market in which ISS and our clients operate.
