Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our responsive repairs team covering electrical repairs and maintenance in Newark and the surrounding area.

What could you be doing?

You will deliver day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance and installation work.

-Basic salary of £36,823 per annum for an Electrician (additional can be earned from voluntary overtime and out of hours)

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We are looking for someone who has:

-Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification.

-18th Edition regulation

-Sound experience in completing a range of electrical repairs and maintenance in a domestic setting.

-Experience of working in property maintenance for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.

-Full driving licence

-As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check. 

This role is for a team based in Newark and covering the surrounding area of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Therefore, you will need to be based here.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
