Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients
We are recruiting personnel at all levels Semi Skilled, Mates, Ops & Skilled Trades & Techs. Covering similar Mechanical - Pipe Fitting roles or Fabrication & Welding roles depending on applicants skill sets & experience.
Fire Watchers - Mates. Assisting Skilled Trades with various types of work. Working on the fitting of pipe spools, supports, valves, pumps, process machinery companents. Also cutting out with plasma & grinders old sheet/plate in vessels, tanks & silos as required. Other work assisting with erecting & fitting work as required depending on the Workers skill sets. Also helping Welders & Platers set up welding plant & power cables at work areas. working on a rota basis to cover Safety work such as Fire Watching. Which will mean setting up work areas with fire blanket, fire extinguisher, welding screen sheeting. Fire Watching when grinding work, plasma cutting work & welding work is being completed.
Quals/Skills = Have some good alround skills/experience assisting with Pipe Fitting & Mechanical Fitting work or able to fabrication & welding work. Ideally Fire Watching ecperience. Depending on the Workers skill set.
Ideally Fire Watching Cert & First Aid at Work Cert & Abrasive Wheels Cert.
Ideally Confined Space Certs any of these Certs or Cards would be advantageous
Ideally at least part qualified or skills/experience within C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Plating or Sheet Metalwork or Pipe - Mechanical Fitting
Ideally CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport
Hours = 0700 – 1700 + 47.50 to 57.5 hours Mon to Fri pos work 0600 – 1700 or 0700 - 1800 as required Also 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required
Term = Temp 4 to 8 weeks with good chance of longer term role of 12 to 18 weeks subject to attendance, time keeping, suitability for the type of work and work load.
Pay Temp = Semi Skilled £19.50 + & Mates £17.50 + per hr basic up to 60 hrs Mon to Fri Plus extra £5 + hr on Sat via Payment Company on CIS or PAYE Basis Depending on Skills/Quals
