Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fast Fit Technician to join our team in our busy Dunfermline depot.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As a Fast Fit Technician, you will be responsible for performing various vehicle services efficiently and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.
Duties
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre fitting, brake inspections and MOT repairs
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform automotive repairs and services
Diagnose issues with vehicles using mechanical knowledge and provide appropriate solutions
Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety standards
Communicate effectively with depot manager regarding service needs and recommendations
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
