We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester or IMI Level 3 Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Inspect vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and emissions standards.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and adjustments as necessary.
Document test results accurately and provide detailed feedback to vehicle owners.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to vehicle testing.
Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for this role.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a workshop or similar environment is highly desirable
