Summary
Ridgeway School, part of Aspris Children's Services, is an independent, specialist day school for young people aged 10-16 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team.
About the Role
This term-time position involves providing professional administrative support across the school. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Acting as first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
- Managing phone calls, emails, and reception duties
- Supporting review processes in collaboration with teaching and support staff
- Booking meetings, taking minutes, and preparing paperwork
- Assisting with ordering supplies, maintaining records, and general office tasks
- Supporting the team with diary management
- Undertaking any such tasks as may be reasonably required by the leadership team
What We're Looking For
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Ability to adopt to company systems
- Previous administrative experience is helpful but not essential-full training provided
