Summary

A leading global Insurance Company has a new opportunity to join them as an Underwriting Administrator on an initial 12 month contract with a potential for a further extension or permanent contract at the end. This would suit someone with some insurance experience looking to develop further into an underwriting support role. You will join the underwriting support team in their modern Birmingham City Centre office in a role that will offer flexibility to work from home or in the office. You will typically be in the office 2 days per week.

You will be given the unique chance to work within both the Birmingham and also the London insurance market where you will have a close relationship due to the nature of the role. You will be given the opportunity to learn and develop within insurance in a company that prides itself on it’s values and forward thinking ethos.

You will focus on the administration elements of the underwriting process using excel on a daily basis to analyse the information and manage process liaising with all areas of the business. You will work with large volumes of data, therefore accuracy and an eye for detail is essential. You will need to have a good understanding of excel although additional training will be provided. The role will offer a huge amount of variety where no one day will be the same.

To be considered you must be able to display the right drive and experience to succeed. You must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a good understanding of excel.
