Summary

A highly regarded global Insurer has a key new opening to join their claims team reporting into the Birmingham office in a role that offer flexibility to blend office working and home working to suit you best.

As a Claims Support Assistant you will be part of the global claims unit supporting the London market Claims Handlers who focus on London market based claims.

You will focus on monitoring claims that are not expected to impact the business financially in support of the vision of being the highest performing specialist insurer.

You will support senior claims management staff by effectively communicating claims updates and escalations, so as to achieve high levels of satisfaction for the insured and broker through high quality service.

There will be a strong focus on data management within the role, assisting with claims data requirements. You will produce and maintain spreadsheets, claims bordereaux and databases to enhance data presentation, analysis, and storage of claims information and data.

To be considered you must have a background within insurance, either within an administrative focused claims, broking or underwriting role. You must also have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and strong communication skills.

Although the role is advertised as a 12 Month FTC it will be budgeted to be made permanent if you are successful within the role that will be the case.
