Summary

We're looking for a Site Services Officer to join our Facilities Management team based at Waltham Forest PFI Schools.Location: Waltham Forest - site-based roleHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts operate on a rotating basis - 06:00 to 15:00 and 09:00 to 18:00, typically alternating every two weeksContract: Permanent

What will you be responsible for?As a Site Services Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the school premises. You'll lead a team of Premises Officers and Cleaning Staff while managing all aspects of facilities performance in line with Kier's PFI contractual requirements.

Your day to day will include:

-Overseeing reactive and planned maintenance to ensure service standards and compliance are met.

-Managing on-site contractors and ensuring all Health & Safety protocols are strictly followed.

-Conducting regular inspections and coordinating maintenance works to minimise disruption to the school.

-Providing leadership, guidance, and training to site and cleaning teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

-Acting as the main point of contact for premises issues and maintaining strong relationships with school staff and clients.

What are we looking for?This role of Site Services Officer is great for you if you have:

-Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and FM best practices.

-Proven experience managing site-based teams in a school or PFI environment.

-Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

-Ability to prioritise workloads, solve problems proactively, and stay calm under pressure.

-Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM systems, with a hands-on approach to site operations.
