We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Afterschool Club Assistant to join one of the local SEN schools in the Abingdon area. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day or during holiday programs. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive team, helping children thrive while having fun and staying safe.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in fun, age-appropriate activities for children
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in your care
Prepare and serve healthy snacks
Maintain accurate attendance records
Support smooth handovers and communicate with parents at pick-up
Work alongside school staff to uphold safeguarding and care standards

Able to manage groups calmly and positively
Confident engaging children of different ages and abilities
