We’re representing a growing UK cargo airline that’s expanding its operations team and looking for a Pre-Ops & Crewing Officer to join their busy and fast-moving environment at Head Office in Hampton Wick.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation operations, crewing, or pre-ops experience who thrives on problem-solving and operational delivery. You’ll be joining a professional, supportive team at a pivotal stage of growth, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient running of daily flight operations.

The Role

As Pre-Ops & Crewing Officer, you’ll act as the key link between rostering and day-to-day operations, ensuring crew resources, travel, and training are coordinated efficiently and compliantly. You’ll also support on-time performance, manage logistics for crew movements, and maintain communication between departments to keep everything running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage crew travel, hotel and transport logistics through third-party suppliers

  • Review and process related invoices accurately and promptly

  • Support on-time performance and overall operational efficiency

  • Monitor pilot leave, fatigue reports, and qualification validity

  • Ensure full compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and company procedures

  • Collaborate with rostering, training, and operations teams to ensure alignment across schedules

  • Support Duty Managers when required and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Promote a safety-first culture and raise issues where appropriate

    About You:

You’ll be a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You’ll have some relevant experience in aviation operations, crewing, or pre-ops, and enjoy working in a team that values efficiency and collaboration.

    You’ll bring:

    • Experience in Pre-Ops, Crewing, or Rostering functions

    • Knowledge of Flight Time Limitations and Fatigue Risk Management (preferred)

    • Familiarity with aviation management systems (LEON experience advantageous)

    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

    • Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments

      The Package:
      • £39,000 base salary + £2,200 shift allowance

      • 33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)

      • 9% employer pension contribution

      • Private healthcare and life assurance (post-probation)

      • Shift-based role with flexibility and development opportunities

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, growing UK operator at an exciting stage of expansion. The role offers a clear path for personal growth within a professional and forward-thinking operations team.

If you have a background in crew planning, rostering, or operations coordination, we’d love to hear from you.
