We’re supporting a growing UK-based cargo airline in their search for a Rostering Planning Officer to join their Ground Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking operator that’s expanding its fleet and building a talented operations function to support future growth.

The Role

As Rostering Planning Officer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining flight crew rosters, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with Flight Time Limitations. You’ll work closely with colleagues across operations, crewing, and training to deliver high-quality, compliant rosters that support safe and reliable flying.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and maintain pilot and third-party rosters using aviation management software

  • Ensure compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and company procedures

  • Investigate and report on any regulatory breaches or extensions

  • Liaise with Training and Crewing teams to coordinate training requirements and check flights

  • Manage pilot leave, fatigue reporting, and qualification tracking

  • Support operational delivery through strong coordination and communication with cross-functional teams

    About You:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience in crew rostering, pre-ops, or day-to-day crewing within aviation. You’ll be confident working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on problem-solving, teamwork, and compliance.

    You’ll bring:

    • Experience in a rostering or crewing role within aviation

    • Understanding of Flight Time Limitations and Fatigue Risk Management

    • Familiarity with aviation management systems (LEON experience advantageous)

    • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills

    • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic operational setting

      The Package:
      • £42,105 per annum

      • Flexible shift pattern

      • 33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)

      • 9% employer pension contribution

      • Private healthcare and life assurance (post-probation)

      • Genuine scope for personal development and progression

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing UK operator at an exciting stage of its development, with the chance to make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

If you have experience in crew planning, rostering, or operations control and want to be part of a dynamic and expanding airline environment, we’d love to hear from you.
