Summary
School Organisation Manager needed in Liverpool
The rate is £28.14ph PAYE
This is a temporary role
The reference number is: RQ1621226
The successful candidate will hold responsibility for delivering critical statutory functions. These include:
- Managing multiple ongoing academisation processes, ensuring the local authority fulfils its statutory duties and coordinates effectively with DfE and converting schools.
- Leading statutory school organisation proposals, including consultations, documentation, and submissions to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator, all of which are subject to immovable legal timelines.
- Overseeing a whole-scale school organisation review, which is time-sensitive and essential to ensuring sufficient pupil places across the city in line with demographic forecasts and capital planning.
- Ensuring timely submission of statutory returns, including the annual School Capacity Assessment Return (SCAP), which directly impacts Basic Need funding allocations and the delivery of a new, time sensitive, free school
- The candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, thorough knowledge of statutory processes and strong analytical skills, being able to deliver robust projections
