Summary

As Site Security Manager, you will lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site security team, overseeing operations across a healthcare site.

You’ll play a key role in managing risks, driving performance, and fostering a strong security culture. This role is ideal for a confident, experienced security leader seeking challenge, visibility and career growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage access control and CCTV systems across the full estate
- Be responsible for rota management, pay queries and day-to-day team management
- Lead on incident response and manage risks or threats as they arise
- Deliver training sessions, including Toolbox Talks, and promote staff development
- Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Champion a strong, site-wide security culture and ensure consistent best practices

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a Security Manager or equivalent at a high footfall site – dealing with a large volume of visitors daily from the general public
- Experience of dealing with difficult situations calmly
- In-depth understanding of security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarms
- Skilled in people management - leadership, coaching and incident handling
- Confident with online rostering, scheduling, and staff resource planning
- Excellent written skills for preparing reports and creating/updating SOPs
- Current SIA frontline licence holder (in Guarding or Door Supervision) & holder of SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV Licence
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with sensitive/confidential data
