Summary

At Myerscough, our values drive us: we are passionate about education, collaborative in our approach, professional in everything we do, and committed to Fredie (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the property portfolio meets all relevant compliance standards. As part of our Maintenance Team, you will monitor compliance levels and take/recommend appropriate actions.

We are lucky enough to have a large estate to look after and, to do that, we need a team who are passionate about detail, safety, and improvement. If this sounds like a team you’d like to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join a vibrant, positive, and enthusiastic team. Plus, you will benefit from 33 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will monitor compliance levels and take/recommend appropriate actions. An essential part of this role will be maintaining excellent records of all work instructed and completed, along with any remedial actions communicated and set in motion.

You will provide reports to various stakeholders that demonstrate our levels of property compliance across a multi-campus estate.
As an experienced administrator and/or someone with sound building knowledge, you will be comfortable with large amounts of data and information and understand the importance of getting property compliance right. You won’t be afraid to ask questions to ensure we have all the information we need to make great progress in the right direction.
You will be dealing with lots of people both in and outside of the organisation so you will be a strong communicator. Importantly, you will have drive and ambition to see our campuses improve and become a clear destination of choice for both staff and students.
Please see job description for more information.

What We Offer:
We take care of our team just as we do our students. As an employee, you can enjoy a range of benefits, including:
• Generous holiday entitlement.
• Regular Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
• Hassle free onsite parking at our Preston Campus.
• An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to provide wellbeing support in moments of need.
• Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
We are flexible working friendly and happy to discuss interest in flexible working.
