Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join our team at Queen’s Hospital, Pharmacy.
Your duties will include:
ØDispensing medication for Inpatients and Outpatients.
ØDispensing Controlled Drugs
ØStock management including receiving and checking orders, checking expiry dates and general housekeeping duties within the dispensary.
ØReception duties including receiving prescriptions
You must hold a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) or equivalent. Ideally you should have worked in a Pharmacy Hospital environment but welcome applications from candidates with community Pharmacy experience.
You must be hard working, methodical and accurate, flexible & have a good attendance record. Experience of working with computers and the general public is essential.
Queen’s Hospital provides full 7-day working and this post will involve some late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.

These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
