We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pupil Progress and Attendance Officer to work as part of the school team.
The Post holder, under the guidance of senior staff, will be responsible for providing effective school support by carrying out a range of information management functions to enhance teaching, learning, assessment and outcomes for pupils. This includes effective coordination of collection, generation and distribution of core data for the school which relates to pupils in the associated systems, ensuring that all data is imported/created and maintained in an up to date and accurate manner. They will work alongside the Safeguarding Officer, School Business Manager and key school staff to provide comprehensive administrative support relating to pupils.
The successful candidate will:
• be self-motivated and have the ambition to develop with the support of the Safeguarding Lead and School Business Manager.
• have the ability to work as part of a team and to work independently.
• have good interpersonal skills that ensure organisational communication is effective with pupils and families.
• utilise a range of systems to ensure accuracy of data and attendance records.
• have the ability and skill to motivate pupils and families to improve attendance levels
• provide admin support to the Admin Team in organising and managing administrative systems and processes within the school, including reception duties
• have good communication and liaison skills and the ability to establish and maintain good personal working relationships with all members of the school community.
• be willing to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job.
• Require excellent Numeracy, Literacy, IT, Organisational/Time Management and IT skills including Microsoft Office, and preferably Arbor, BromCom Finance, EVERY
