SEND Teaching Assistant - North London - Full Time - Start ASAP

A caring and ambitious primary school in Finchley is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. You will work directly with pupils who have additional needs helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and flourish within an inclusive school community.
In your role, you’ll collaborate closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and support staff to adapt learning materials, scaffold activities, and deliver small group or 1:1 support tailored to each child’s needs. You will help monitor progress, promote independence, and ensure children feel safe, understood, and valued in every lesson.
Experience working with children with SEND (particularly in primary or mainstream settings) is highly desirable. You should be patient, resilient, empathetic, and confident in adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
