The Role

As a Russell Group Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:

• Provide targeted academic support and intervention for students in GCSE and A-Level subjects
• Deliver structured small group and 1:1 tuition to raise attainment and close knowledge gaps
• Support students with exam preparation, revision strategies, and subject confidence
• Work closely with teachers and department leads to track progress and identify learning priorities
• Act as a role model, inspiring students to aim high and develop a love for learning

You will be joining a high-achieving school that values intellectual curiosity and will support you to develop your own teaching and mentoring skills.

What We’re Looking For

• A 2:1 or above degree from a Russell Group university
• Strong subject knowledge (core subjects or humanities/sciences especially welcome)
• A genuine passion for education and student achievement
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience tutoring, mentoring or working with young people (desirable but not essential)
