The Role – SEN Teacher

• Full-time, permanent position starting September 2025.
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons for students aged 5–19 with a range of needs including autism (ASC), SEMH, and MLD.
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs and EHCP targets.
• Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development with a focus on SEN strategies.
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (essential).
• Experience teaching in SEN schools or with pupils with additional needs.
• Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and EHCP processes.
• Patient, resilient, and passionate about SEN education.
• Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to manage support staff effectively.
