What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group sessions in English or Maths
• Supporting students both onsite and in the community
• Collaborating with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
• Planning and adapting sessions based on individual needs and EHCPs
• Monitoring progress, setting achievable goals, and celebrating small wins
• Using restorative and trauma-informed approaches to build trust
• Promoting student re-engagement with learning and boosting confidence
Ideal Qualified Teacher For This Camden Role:
• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs welcome with the right mindset
• Subject background in English or Maths preferred
• Experience working with students with SEMH or in alternative provision
• Flexible, emotionally resilient, and patient
• Comfortable working both in a classroom and offsite
• Able to form meaningful, professional relationships with hard-to-reach students
