Summary

We’re looking for an experienced School Cook to join our kitchen team in the Oldham area. You’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious, tasty meals for pupils and staff, following set menus and food safety standards.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Pay: £13.26 per hour
Contract: Term-time only, part-time or full-time considered
Location: Various schools across Oldham

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Cooking fresh meals daily for school lunches
• Managing food prep, portion control, and kitchen hygiene
• Working with dietary requirements and allergen guidelines
• Supporting a positive mealtime experience for pupils
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working in a school or similar catering environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A friendly, reliable attitude and good time management
