FRENCH SPEAKING LOGISTICS OPERATOR
Offering a salary of £30,000 to £32,000
Monday to Friday 8am – 6.00pm (flexibility)
6-10 month Temp contract (Possible Permanent opportunity)
Based in Birmingham/Oldbury (B68)
We are working with a company-based Birmingham (B68) who are recruiting for a FRENCH SPEAKING TRANSPORT OPERATOR to join the existing Transport Operations team.
This is offering a salary of £30000 to £32000 and working Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm and can be flexible during these hours (9-5pm or 10 – 6pm etc)
The duties of the role will be;
• Working with French speaking customer and suppliers
• Arrange collections and deliveries, across UK to high end customers and retailers
• Booking deliveries
• Update Transport systems with bookings and shipment status
• Complete General Transport administration
• Responding to French customers and suppliers via telephone and email
• Liaising with 3rd party haulier, drivers, internal and external departments
• Tracing and tracking and pre-advising of delivery schedules
• Taking transport enquiries
The role requires a candidate who has previous working experience in Logistics, Road haulage, UK Transport, Distribution industry and is seeking a position. Previous transport operational knowledge and experience to include route planning, etc is required.
French language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
The role is initial a 6 – 10 month temporary contract though could become permanent for the right candidate.
