Summary

We’re recruiting an MDT Pathway Involvement Officer to support the work of our Northumberland Recovery College (NRC). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Community Mental Health Transformation (CMHT) programme, helping to connect people with meaningful, non-clinical support that makes a real difference to their recovery and wellbeing.About the jobAs an MDT Pathway Involvement Officer, you’ll act as the vital link between clinical services, local communities, and NRC activities. You’ll attend Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings across both Primary and Secondary Care, ensuring people living with serious mental illness (SMI) are supported holistically.Key responsibilitiesBuilding strong connections with service users, local communities, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), and CNTW clinical teams.Identifying opportunities for people to access NRC courses and activities that complement their clinical care.Using insight from MDT meetings to recommend and support non-clinical, community-based pathways.Helping people enrol with NRC and guiding them into activities that can support their recovery.Measuring and evaluating the impact of NRC involvement through feedback, surveys, and focus groups.Contributing your voice and ideas within MDT meetings, even alongside consultant-level professionals.What we're looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you have:Experience engaging with people in community or healthcare settings.Confidence to contribute in MDT meetings and work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals.Strong communication skills and the ability to support individuals in accessing the right opportunities.Knowledge (or a willingness to develop knowledge) of medical terminology, safeguarding, and risk management.A passion for recovery-focused, non-clinical support in mental health services.What we offer in returnWe are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
