About the job.

We're looking for a Senior Campaigns Manager to join our CSC Communications team playing a leading role in delivering National Highways campaigns and helping champion the campaigns-based approach across the Communications Division.

You will work as part of the Strategic Communications team, bringing together colleagues from across the Communications Division to develop and deliver a programme of campaign activities which promote and protect the reputation of National Highways.

Working with colleagues across NH, you will gather insight to inform the campaigns, support in evaluating campaign activity and take ownership of horizon scanning and planning for your campaign area to maximise opportunities and minimise risks.

  • Supporting the delivery of effective campaign programme, collaborating with colleagues across the Communications Division to deliver integrated communications campaigns, and leading on key projects and campaign activity in line with our communications strategy.
  • Champion a campaign-based approach, working across the Communications Division together with colleagues across National Highways to promote and embed best practice on campaigning, insight and evaluations.
  • Tap into intelligence from various internal and external sources to support the Strategy and Planning Manager and ensure the horizon scanner draws on a range of sources of insight, ensuring audiences are targeted effectively and through the right channels.
  • Use data and insight to shape and continuously improve campaign activity, working closely with the insight team to ensure audiences are targeted effectively and through the right channels.
  • Evaluate campaigns activity and share learning and best practice with other colleagues, ensuring lessons are learnt to improve future campaign activity.

About you.

  • An ideas-driven, proactive individual with demonstrable experience as a communications professional with a good understanding of how to develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues with experience of bringing together communications colleagues and specialists to deliver communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Proven track record of working in a complex environment and managing competing priorities, seeing projects through from beginning to end in a
    timely and organised manner.
  • Passion for insight-based campaigns and continuous improvement.
