Would you like to work in an award-winning Group Corporate Affairs function? We have a fantastic opportunity to join us working on reputation, campaigns and insights.

About this opportunity

Our purpose in Corporate Affairs is to secure Lloyds Banking Group's reputation as the bank that helps Britain prosper. The Reputation, Campaigns & Insights team leads on reputation strategies for the function, delivering creative, data-led campaigns with impact.

As a manager in the Reputation, Campaign & Insights team, you'll be responsible for providing insights for our communication strategies and tactics. You'll identify what resonates with and matters to our audiences to support the creation of impactful campaigns that enhance our reputation.

Day to day, you will:

  • Developing our understanding of what drives the Group's Corporate reputation externally, identifying drivers of reputational growth and how we can bring that to life across our campaigns. For example, through corporate audience deep dives and reputational trend analysis.
  • Supporting the refinement of our measurement processes across each audience to build a more accurate representation of our current standing.
  • Champion the use and understanding of insights as a basis for strategy and campaign development. Including through presentation of latest insight developments to facilitate strategy discussions at planning forums.
  • Lead on production and delivery of insight projects, including the Quarterly Insights Report, Regional Landscape Reports, and Editorial Planning Forum insights.
  • Delivering ad hoc insights to inform decision making, ensuring the most valuable and appropriate data is used.
  • Support the delivery of strategy planning by undertaking or commissioning white space analysis, horizon scanning, market and competitor scans, and other key research pieces.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

We're on an exciting journey and there couldn't be a better time to join us. The investments we're making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

What you'll need:

  • Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills. Comfortable collating existing research and business knowledge to identify how to use data most optimally, identifying areas for further investigation.
  • Experience of data storytelling and can use analytics to help influence decision making. Confident presenting data and insight in an engaging way that resonates with audiences and drives positive decision making across the Group.
  • A good understanding of various primary research techniques and, most meaningfully, the ability to turn this information into practical insights, so we can supervise progress on the back of our results.
  • Experience of social listening and secondary research techniques (e.g. desk research, online media monitoring and social listening, etc.) and outputs to further improve our reputation amongst our key audiences.
  • Understanding of AI tools for research, measurement and comms creation, including standard methodologies.
  • Knowledge of how political, regulatory, economic, and technological developments can impact our reputational strategy.
  • Self-motivated to deliver individual projects but also someone who is enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
  • Project management skills, including familiarity with Agile approaches to project management.
  • Supplier and budget management experience
  • Strong influencing skills - comfortable addressing and facilitating discussions with senior partners.
  • Confident mentoring skills and supporting team members with their development.
