Join Our Dynamic People and Culture Team!

Are you a proactive and forward-thinking individual looking to make a significant impact? If so, we invite you to join our People and Culture team at Perth and Kinross Council, where you will lead our Power Automate project. This is an opportunity to drive change and innovation across the division.

In this role, you’ll take the lead in building and maintaining Power Automate flows to streamline our HR and Payroll processes.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders within the People and Culture team to gather requirements, consider touchpoints, and support solution testing, deployment, and documentation to ensure seamless integration.

Your contributions will also include developing reusable templates to enhance efficiency, promoting best practices, and delivering training sessions and workshops to empower users.

You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining learning materials, templates, and starter kits, while also providing hands-on support to users as they navigate their first flows. Additionally, you’ll design and produce process maps to help visualise and optimise workflows.

Skills & Experience Required

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and a strong team player, yet confident working independently.

Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage your own workload while leading the project.

You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Flexibility is key, as you’ll be expected to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience with Power Automate and/or Power Apps, along with a strong understanding of Power Platform connectors and licensing.

You should have experience supporting or training users in Power Platform tools, and be comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with enablement tools such as learning paths, templates, and documentation platforms is important, as is the ability to design processes and produce clear process maps. Crucially, you will also have previous project experience and a preferably a background in working with HR and Payroll systems.

You should have:

- Solid experience with Power Automate and/or Power Apps.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform connectors and licensing.
- Experience in training/supporting users in Power Platform tools.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with enablement tools (learning paths, templates, documentation platforms).
- Experience in process design and mapping.
- Previous project experience, preferably in HR and Payroll systems.
