An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Caretaker to work as part of a team with the school’s Senior Caretaker and site staff. You may be called upon to undertake other caretaking duties from time to time and as such the post would likely suit an individual with handyperson skills and recognised trade qualifications to assist with the smooth running of the school during the day/evening, and to undertake internal & external maintenance works around the site. A person who is able to communicate well with staff, contractors, pupils and the wider community; is able to complement the site management team by bringing to the post a proven track record of successful maintenance skills i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpentry etc, and who takes a pride in his/her work at all times.

The successful candidate may be required to act as key holder for the school and be in a position to respond promptly in the event of an alarm activation.
.
Working Hours will be:
Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm The duties and responsibilities are difficult to define in detail and may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or level of responsibilities entailed. The post holder is therefore expected to undertake such other reasonable duties as may be requested.
