Summary
About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to join the recently established London office. London branch was established 18 months ago, and projects are all valued between £1 million and £20 million. All sites are in central London with a few in the surrounding counties and every project is either CAT A, CAT B or full refurbishment and fit-out. 2 head offices in London and Manchester so whilst not regular, candidates will need to be open to travelling up more when required.
Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts.
- Pricing, and managing change and variations.
- Monitoring costs against tender allowances.
- Site meetings.
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- 5+ years' experience on fit-out and refurbishment sites or a background with a fit-out contractor.
- Commercially managed projects with values of £5 million plus.
- Based closely or easy commute to Central London.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
