We are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Security Capability Integration (SCI) Lead within the Clyde Security Organisation (CSyO). The role will involve learning about the establishment and the continuous improvement of security provided at HMNB Clyde due to the ever-evolving threat picture that will inform future projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Leading the security integration of future Defence capabilities, with a primary focus on projects such as Dreadnought, Replacement Warhead, and AUKUS. The successful candidate will lead on the security requirements within the project ensuring that relevant MOD and local policies are followed.

As Intelligent Customer, lead the integration of future security capabilities to ensure they align with pan-Defence Lines of Development solutions.

Acting as the focal point for CSyO in meetings and steering groups related to capability delivery on behalf of Assistant Head of Naval Base Security (AHNBS) as required. This will ensure deconfliction with other projects at the site and cohere the integration in a seamless way in a busy and complex security ecosystem.

Collaborating with the CSyO Assurance team and external Level 2 and Level 3 assurance organisations to ensure compliance with MOD Security policy. AHNBS and their team is responsible for Defence Security Condition 1, Secure By Design whereby providing evidence to the Level 2 and 3 external agencies is required to show compliance with JSP 628 and other relevant nuclear and non-nuclear policies.

Undertaking additional tasks as directed by the AHNBS or DHNBS (Deputy Head of Naval Base Security) to meet business needs. The base is undergoing continual change therefore requiring the management of many projects which AHNBS requires support with.
