About Us

At Beehive Care & Training Group Ltd, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality care, whether they live in a town, a remote village, or at the end of a winding country lane. We are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care to people across rural Devon, ensuring no one is left without the support they need.

About the Role – More Than Care, It’s the Journey Too

As a Rural Community Carer, you’ll not only be providing high-quality care in people’s homes but also travelling across beautiful countryside to reach them. Driving is a big part of this role, and we need carers who are confident and experienced in navigating country lanes:

In the early mornings, evenings, and at night

In all weather conditions – from frosty lanes to summer storms

Across remote rural locations where your visit truly makes the difference

Our care calls typically run between 7am and 10pm, so flexibility across these times is essential. As part of your contracted role, you will also be required to work alternative weekends.

This role is perfect for someone who loves the open road and is passionate about caring for people in their local communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing person-centred care to customers in their homes – supporting with personal care, medication, meals, and mobility.
Offering companionship and reassurance to customers and their families.
Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being in every visit.
Keeping accurate records of care delivered.
Driving safely to and from appointments across rural routes, ensuring you arrive reliably and ready to support.
Qualifications & Experience

Recognised Health & Social Care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/Diploma Level 2 or 3) are desirable.

A caring, compassionate nature and commitment to professional standards.

Confident driving experience on rural roads, country lanes, and in all weather.

Flexibility to work shifts, with availability between 7am–10pm (including alternative weekends).

Excellent communication skills and a friendly, reliable attitude.

Previous experience in care is helpful, but full professional training and development will be provided.

A valid driving licence and access to a reliable car.

Why Join Beehive Care?

£26,000 contracted salary – stable and reliable income.

Paid from the start of your shift to the end – not just per call.

Mileage allowance for your travel.

Paid training and opportunities for professional development and progression.

Flexible working patterns within your contract.

Work with a friendly, supportive team who value you.

The chance to make a real difference in the lives of rural customers.
