Summary

Beehive Care & Training Group Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for compassionate individuals to bring kindness, care, and connection to rural communities across Mid and East Devon. If you love the countryside and want to make a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you.

Rural Driving Required

This role involves visiting clients in very remote locations, often accessible only via narrow country lanes and rural roads. A reliable car and confidence driving in the countryside are essential. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating isolated areas in all weather conditions.

Flexible Shift Patterns

We offer a mix of options to suit different lifestyles:

Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
Midday shifts: 10:00 – 16:00
Evening shifts: 16:00 – 22:00
Weekend shifts available
We ask for a minimum of three morning or evening shifts per week, plus alternate weekends—but we’ll work with you to find a pattern that fits.

Your Role as a Community Carer

Provide personal care that promotes dignity and independence
Support with meals, hydration, and medication reminders
Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
Help with light household tasks such as tidying and laundry
Assist with safe mobility and movement
Use our user-friendly mobile app to update care notes

What You’ll Need

Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Confidence driving in rural and remote areas
The right to work in the UK (we’re unable to offer sponsorship)
A kind, respectful approach and the ability to work independently
Comfortable using a smartphone (training provided)
