Recruitment - Empowering Talent
We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Recruitment Specialist to help shape and deliver high-impact, inclusive recruitment services across the council. This is a key role for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, driving innovation, and ensuring we attract the right talent to support our workforce priorities.
In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of innovative, targeted recruitment campaigns that attract and retain top talent. Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you’ll provide expert advice on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and employer branding. You’ll use your understanding of recruitment trends, data insights, and digital platforms to shape effective attraction strategies and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
This is a varied and forward-thinking role where you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, support strategic workforce planning, and help position the council as an employer of choice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in recruitment, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellent service. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while building strong relationships across the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
Proven past/current experience in recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced or complex organisation.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently.
A commitment to delivering excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences.
The ability to analyse recruitment data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
If you're ready to take the next step in your recruitment career and play a key role in shaping a forward-thinking, people-focused service, we’d love to hear from you.
