Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Church Farm at Field House in Radcliffe-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire in the heart of the community.
This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents known as Family Members, contributing directly to their comfort and well-being. If you have a passion for supporting others and creating a safe home-like atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
This role is a part-time position working between 8am - 3pm with a 30 minute unpaid break per shift, 5 shifts per week (32.5 hours per week contract). There will be a requirement to work alternative weekends.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for residents.
Support the care team by maintaining cleanliness in communal areas.
Assist with laundry services as needed.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Foster positive relationships with residents through friendly interactions.
Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills.
Uphold the values of Church Farm Care in all interactions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
