GCSE English Teacher - Salford | Step Teachers

We're looking for a passionate GCSE English Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Salford from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term gig with potential to go permanent if it's a good fit.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Teaching engaging, creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4, getting students ready for their GCSEs
- Helping students improve their literacy and communication skills in ways that really stick
- Tracking progress, giving feedback, and tailoring support to help everyone succeed
- Working with a supportive English team and contributing to school life beyond the classroom

- Got QTS or QTLS? Awesome - that's essential!
- Experience teaching English up to GCSE level, with a passion for making lessons interesting and relevant
- You care about your students and want to help them grow inside and outside the classroom
- A team player who's flexible, positive, and ready to get stuck in

What You Need to Apply:
- A CV covering the last 10 years of work history
- Right to work in the UK and a current address proof

- Min. of two references covering last 2 years (one must be child based)
