Summary
In this role, you will collaborate with student club committees, coaches, and external partners to enhance the student sporting experience. A typical day may include:
• Providing training and guidance to student club leaders, equipping them with the skills to run their clubs effectively and inclusively.
• Developing partnerships with national governing bodies and community organisations to create more opportunities for students from all backgrounds.
• Supporting clubs in achieving financial sustainability, including securing funding and developing income-generating initiatives.
• Contributing to strategic projects that enhance student sport participation and remove barriers to involvement.
This is a full-time, permanent role, and some evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of student sports clubs. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.
About the Team
You will join a dynamic, collaborative and supportive Club Development Team within the University of Nottingham Sport department, committed to creating an inclusive and accessible sporting environment where all students, regardless of background, identity, or ability, feel welcome and valued.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to making student sport inclusive and enjoyable for all. You would be well-suited to this role if:
• You have experience working within a sports club environment, with an understanding of university sport structures.
• You have knowledge of how to create inclusive and accessible sports environments.
• You have experience working with sports coaches, governing bodies, or other sporting organisations.
• You have a collaborative and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• You are committed to championing equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
