Summary
Your role will be responsible for working with multiple programmes across the Basing and Infrastructure Directorate to ensure programme coherency and future capital investment is spent where it offers the greatest strategic benefit to Army. The funding allocation to achieve this is c£24Bn over the next 10 years.
The key programmes that will be cohered, managed and integrated to maintain portfolio level overview include: Infrastructure Modernisation Plan, Defence Estates Optimisation Programme, Single Living Accommodation (SLA), Reserve Estate Optimisation (REO) Programme and Army Estate Modernisation Programmes (AEMPs).
Key responsibilities:
Assist Infrastructure Planning Team in the development of a coherent, affordable and deliverable Army Infrastructure Plan.
Contribute to the development of the Army’s strategic view on Infrastructure priorities and associated BoI (Balance of Investments) decisions.
Modify the 10 Year Plan to include rolling programmes where feasible, catering for Resource and Capital requirements; profile to cover 3 years in detail and 7 years outline.
